'Freedom to Grow' was another campaign related to European legislation and pharmaceuticals. Bayer was extremley keen to influence both legislators and the wider public regarding what they considered misunderstanding of issues relating to GM technology. In the face of powerful and direct counter- arguments put forward by NGOs, Bayer were persuaded to take what was for them, a brave approach influenced heavily by the visual and TOV examples of historical 'propaganda' material.
